We have been to almost every possible Caribbean spot but never Barbados. As this is our first visit, what do we have to do?

We have been to almost every possible Caribbean spot but never Barbados. As this is our first visit, what do we have to do?

 

Here are some ideas

 

Top Spots: Harrisons Cave, Green Monkeys, Plantation House.

 

For scenery & History: Sam Lords Castle is a cool locale - closed now but worth a stop for the scenery - beach is gorgeous and you can see how easily he lured ships into the reef (this IMHO is a very breathtaking vista)

 

Tour Malibu or Mount Gay Rum.

 

Take a turtle tour (swim with the turtles)

We went on the TIAMI catamaran to where they feed the turtles. I have been on 50+ Caribbean dives and this was the closest I ever got to any of the turtles. So close in fact one of them nipped my calf. It must have thought my calf was a HUGE piece of squid.
