post claiming combined OBC/balcony discount post 1/1/09

We booked a cruise while on a cruise last week, the girl knew we were platinum but did not apply the discount for new cruise. I did not know that was one of the perks of platinum so did not ask.

While on ship found this out from another passenger, so I called C&A today and they added the discount.

This is buried in another thread but didn't want it to get lost. I replied asking for confirmation and will cross-link over there so hopefully kidless will reply here.

 

Sorry, kidless - hope you don't mind me starting this thread. Many of us have been waiting for evidence of whether OBC/C&A coupon/C&A balcony discount is still combinable or not.

 

P.S. I realize she doesn't specifically say she got both OBC and the balcony discount but that's how I interpreted it so sorry if I'm needlessly getting hopes up. :o

RCL has not changed their policy still no combinable discounts if she did get both then it was a fluke. RCL policy still remains the same since 12/31 benefits are not combinable.
