Kjsnbrd Posted January 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Once off the shuttle, can you get a carriage ride, or do you have to venture further into town?
hdawson Posted January 14, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2009 The carriage rides that I'm familiar with are in Merida. 50 min/20 bucks.
Kjsnbrd Posted January 14, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Sorry, we actually just decided to go on a cruise on the 2nd of Feb. I have not really done much research on this. Is Merida where the shuttle leaves you off at, or is this a town that I will need to get additional transportation to?
hdawson Posted January 14, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Merida is a large Spanish colonial city, 21 miles from Progreso. State capitol and home to four universities. Archetecture dating back to 1549 and the oldest cathedral of the Americas built in 1561. This thread should help.
