2-for-1 Dining

I have read here that in 2009 (at least for now) they are not giving the coupon books out. They come from the travel agencies with whom you booked. It would be part of the advertised price, as in $100 OBC and coupon book. That was the bad news.

But the good news is that sometimes (I've read, not experienced it) the ships will offer a 2 for 1 offer for a certain time of dining, perhaps in a certain restaurant. This will be advertised in your daily sheet. I imagine this would be so only if they found the specialty, surcharge, restaurants were not being filled.

The coupon is only good for the 1st night ( embarkation ) and not for all restaurants.....pretty much useless.

As the previous poster said, depending on the cruise, the 2 for 1 is offered sometimes either for early dining 5:30-6:30pm or late dining ( after 8:30pm I think). The cruises I have been on, they were offered for early dining times on port days.
