Glass bottom boat

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at the land and sea Glory tour. It is very interesting for my 3 boys but my husband is seasick if the boat rocks gently like in a catamaran. :( In a power boat, he is ok. Can someone tell me what kind of boat is the glass bottom boat?

I have not been on this particular tour, but I do know a little about boats. In order for the glass bottom of a boat to do any good it must make contact with the water. This can be done on a flat bottomed boat or a boat with a "V" shaped hull. As the hulls of a catamaran are to the outside and traditionally enclosed a glass bottomed catamaran would not work.
