Panama Canal - NCL vs Celebrity vs RC?

Hi

 

We are looking to cruise the Panama Canal in Jan 2010 and were almost sold on Celebrity constellation but now see that NCL cruise there too (and royal caribbean)?

 

Any advice on pros and cons??

 

Have only ever cruised on Disney before...

I really don't want to start a battle of the

'who is the better cruise line" but....... I've sailed NCL and have liked them, that having been said once I sailed with RCI, I liked them better. I really can't compare them with Disney since I have not sailed with them before. Celebrity is probably somewhat on par with RCI, perhaps a bit more formal. The biggest difference in the two lines, RCI and NCL is that NCL tends to be less formal with the Freestyle. RCI is also doing a version of Feestyle with their open seating dinning that you can elect as opposed to the regular assigned seating for the main dinning room.

 

The bottom line is, I think you will get a good cruise no matter who you choose. Fares, itineraies, airfares, dates are really what are important.... But I still like RCI:)!

 

PS I have sailed Cunard, Carnival, NCL and RCI.
