Why aren't I more excited?

I'm leaving on the 3rd...but it hasn't "hit me" yet...I'm not NEARLY as excited as I was last year...

Actually, I felt the same way before my cruise 3 weeks ago!! It took me forever to get packed and I am usually ready months before. Once I was out of the driveway, I got excited, and the cruise was awesome!!! :)

well, I'm mostly packed already...rather than put my summer clothes away, I just packed them...*grin*...I just can't seem to get "into" it this time...I'm sure the cruise will be as awesome or more so than the last one...

Have had the same "not excited" feeling on occasion, but it rapidly changes when I see the ship!!

 

But the biggest thrill is when they blow the horn (whistle) and back into the channel!

We leave on the Grand on the 11th and I'm in the same boat (pun intended). I am sure I'll have a great time once it all gets underway.

I always go through a stint of pre-cruise blues. I don't know why, but there is always a period of a couple of weeks when I feel that I'm abandoning my work and other responsibilities. That feeling always goes away when we pull out of the driveway.

I had this same feeling before leave a couple weeks ago. The few days before the trip it started to grow. The night before I was very excited and on the way to the ship I was at the peak. Dont worry it will hit you.

I leave on 12/2, and I was more excited when I booked back in April. But I do know, that on the morning of the 2nd, I will be excited. My heart will flutter when I see Port Everglades, pound when I get into the Princess terminal, and hopefully not go into cardiac arrest when I get onto the ship! :D
