Transportation to Beach

ISLAND DIVA

Recommended Posts

We will be in Grand Turk on a cruise ship in March.Just wondering a good beach to go to and transportation to there. We have heard about Governors Beach and a tram that we can get from the cruiseship terminal. does this beach have facilities and chairs to rent?We really do not want to stay at Margaritaville, maybe a drink before we get back on.

Also we are interested in conch shell jewellery and carvings ,any shops near the terminal that sell this.Thank you!

Beach was right smack in front of the ship. Who wants to see that while on a tropical island?

So, we decided to take a cab for $6 p/p each way to Governor's Beach. Glad we did. The view was much better and the beach was a lot cleaner. Not good for snorkeling. A very relaxing kind of beach.

Pillroy Beach - Cab fare - $7.00 p\p Chairs are free. The loungers $10.00

Not good for snorkeling. Beach had horse droppings  on beach. Wasn't as nice as Governors. Won't go back again.
