X1 card again (sorry!)

Sorry one more X1 question - we like a drink before and after dinner but not during dinner really.

 

Is it feasible to buy the X1 card and get wine and bottles of beer at lunchtime and takes the drinks to our room to keep in the fridge for early evening beverage? Do people carry drinks round?

 

Are there any other drinks packages including beer/lager? I've seen the wine/water packages?

 

Many thanks - we are on the Costa Victoria early Feb in Dubai.

 

Unfortunatley our travel agent has incorrectly put us as late dining, when being British we want early! How easy will it be to swop? We will probably be in bed by 9pm!

Mail costa asap with your wish for early sitting, normaly they try to make you as comfortable as possible.

 

The X1 is the only drink deal including beer, and no, you won´t get it in bottles at lunchtime. It´ll be presented per glas, at least that´s the case in the buffet restaurant, so your beer won´t be tasty by the time you get ready for dinner! Thinking about it, beer is always provided by the glas and never in a bottle!
