Are the luggage tags supposed to go on before we board the airplane or after we land prior to going on the ship?

For us that depends. If we are doing a pre-cruise stay, we don't put them on until we head for the pier. If we are flying direct the day of sailing, then we place them on the luggage before we leave home. ;)

Princess recommends putting them before you board the plane because if the bag goes astray it is more likely the airline will be able to deliver it to the ship.

That's what I was thinking, my wife and I were not sure. I am going to put them on before we get on the plane.
