Just curious about the upgrades at the port

Recommended Posts

Right now we are (happily) in two adjoining rooms (E1) on the Mariner but would be even more happy with a grand suite or better and would be willing to pay the extra at the port if one is available. My question is, would we still keep one of our two rooms and just upgrade the one room? Not that I would necessarily need the one room still but just curious how that would work. Since we are paying as much as a JS to have two rooms would we be able to pay less for an upgrade with the two rooms? I hope this makes sense! Has anyone been in this situation??? More than likely we would just stay in the two rooms but would like to know all of our options.
Thanks!

Most new ships are totally booked by the time they sail. We have never received or been able to buy an upgrade yet. Enjoy and hope you get lucky
