Dec 17 15 nt Zaandam Hawaii, reduced 3rd/4th passenger rate?

Considering booking this 15 nt cruise, but only if 3rd and 4th passenger rates decrease. At current price, it is out of our budget.

 

Has anyone ever cruised on this itinerary and if so, have you ever noticed if the 3rd/4th passenger rates decrease for kids?

 

Also wondering if Holland America offers specials throughout the year such as reduced rates for children etc.

We just added our grandaughter to our Thanksgiving cruise on the Zuiderdam. Her cruise fare was very inexpensive. The TA said it was on sale. However the government fee, port charges, taxes and insurance were additional and of course not reduced. I think they are the same as the first and second passengers.

I hope you can take the kids,,we traded our week pass for two to the thermal suite for the opportunity for grandaughter to join us. We didn't mind a bit.

It's probably too early for most cruise lines to offer holiday promotions, given they have an entire summer ahead of them and serious thousands of cabins to fill.

 

Be aware that different travel agencies offer different promotions, for the same cruise, at the same time.

Typically, there are better promotions on the VISTA class ships because there are more berths to fill.
