vegasmann Posted January 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2009 Hi all Is it possible to leave a ship a day early eg Pisa, before the ship returns to Rome the following morning when all the passengers leave. (might have to return home a day early due to important appointment). thanks
TheVegasMan Posted January 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2009 Yes, it's possible, don't expect a refund or credit for the unused portion of the cruise. Is this like answering my own question?
TheVegasMan Posted January 26, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2009 If you are in Las Vegas, NV, you may want to check out the local group of cruisers. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=835131
wrp96 Posted January 26, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2009 It depends on your itinerary and what port you want to leave the ship. Italy has a cabotage act similiar to the US which might be an issue depending on your other ports so your best bet is to contact Carnival to make sure it is possible and to arrange it in advance. CruzVinnieCruz Posted January 26, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2009 We were on the European cruise last fall and a couple in our group left a day early and had no trouble at all. They informed Carnival before hand and there was no problem.
