small children in Carnival waterpark?

Hi,

 

We're taking our son, who will be 20 months old, on the Carnival Imagination in March. I read somewhere on the boards that children in diapers are not allowed in the waterpark. Is this true? Even with swimmy diapers? Also, anyone know what the height restriction is for the water slide?

I have read that the toddlers are allowed in the waterpark area but not in the pools......

The height requirement is 48" as far as I know.

The people on the family board may be able to answer the diaper question.

From the FAQs

 

Use of the pools :

 

Due to United States Public Health (USPH) Regulations, we do not allow children in diapers, in swimming diapers or those not toilet-trained in the pools.

Lifeguards are not on duty.

The pools are not designed for diving.

Use of the pools by guests under 13 without adult supervision is prohibited.

 

Waterpark shore excursion in Jamaica: Swim diapers are required for young children and infants.
