vi reynolds Posted June 18, 2009 #31 Share Posted June 18, 2009 This will be our first time in the Caribbean and our first cruise since we had our son. My parents are coming with us and are more than happy to stay with the baby if we want to go and do something on our own but the idea is that we all enjoy this holiday. Now, there was a comment about burning etc. I will take all kind of sun precautions possible. I believe there are shade areas in MV but still, should we skip this, or at least leave the baby on the ship with my mum and dad and just take a stroll and go back? I know it sounds crazy to cruise the Caribbean with such a young child but the boat should be no problem and as per ports an excursions we're mindful that we won't be able to do everything that we could do when it was just the two of us. We're trying to make the most of what we have for all concern. Any opinions?
