squibs Posted January 27, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2009 Hi folks, This is my first post so I hope I have it right. We are booked in a outside cabin on upper deck 6 cabin size says 17m, my son and his partner are in cabin on the same deck with a balcony and the size is 42.8m seems such a big difference for the extra $148. Any views on this. Squibs:confused:
MargnGrah Posted January 27, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2009 Hi Squibs, Welcome to CC. Hope that you find all the answers to anything you want to know....and even more that you don't ask...lol :D As for the cabins on Pacific Sun, deck 6 is Upper deck and we have stayed in U76 when we cruised on her. We found the cabin to be a good size with lots of wardrobe space, the bathroom is small but well layed out. There are no balcony cabins on the Pacific Sun only Verandah Suites, so unless your son has booked a suite he could not have a balcony. The suites are up on the Verandah Deck....deck11. :o....but would be a lot more than $148 extra. Hope this helps, or confuses you....
mrssoexcited Posted January 27, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2009 I'm only a newbie too, about to go on my first cruise on Pacific Sun, but there are no balcony rooms on level 6? Only Inside and Outside Cabins. How did you find out the room diameters?
i_love_cruising Posted January 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2009 ...How did you find out the room diameters? Cabin dimensions are listed in the brochure and also on the website. Sarah
squibs Posted January 28, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Sorry guys my future daughter-in-law made the mistake, they have a outside cabin no balcony, (she's a blonde) just joking all you blondes lol;)
Ela 2 Posted January 28, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Hi Squibs, What the others have said is correct, so I will not repeat it. The outside and inside cabins are all exactly the same dimensions. The size is quoted on page 67 of the brochure as "Outside or inside Queen Bed (approx 17m square)". Twin bed configuration is obviously the same size. For $148 extra (presumably each) it think it is worth having a window if you could get one. :):) Evon.
