Me and a friend leave in 10 days and we both have been to St Thomas so we figured we would take a ferry to St John. The problem is where do we dock or are we anchored? We are on the NCL Dawn We will be there Tuesday Feb 10. I have read so many post about this but not knowing where we start from is making this hard to plan. We will do this on our own but would like to know the cheapest way from where we come in.

February 10th there are supposed to be 3 ships in port including the NCL Dawn, all 3 at the WICO dock in Havensight.

So you'd have to choose which ferry you want to take, from Charlotte Amalie or from Red Hook. The ferries have different schedules so check them out to see which works best for your time in port. You could always take one over and return on the other, just make sure to buy one way tickets because the prices are different. The prices on the ferry schedule page TheVegasMan listed are the old fares; the ferry prices are $6.10 for RH and $11.10 for CA - thats one way, per adult.
