Belize Zoo - We went to the zoo after doing a private cave tubing trip with Nacho and Cythnia. Nacho gave us a tour of the zoo and explained things as we went along. There were very few people at the zoo, it was a overcast day so that all was a plus. I have 5 children ages 7 - 14 and they liked it a lot. My husband and I liked it to. You can get upclose to several of the animals and there were a few animals that I have never seem in an US zoo. It is a different kind of zoo, small but very enjoyable and just overall, unique. It was actually talked about on the Today Show a few months ago when they did the Around the World series. They mentioned that it is a zoo with a unique story. We liked it.
