We have a driver..route suggestions??

After reading about some scary car rental stories, we decided to get a driver instead. Now we are just trying to plan a route.. does anyone have any suggestions? My husband really wants to see some ruins along the way...

After reading about some scary car rental stories, we decided to get a driver instead. Now we are just trying to plan a route.. does anyone have any suggestions? My husband really wants to see some ruins along the way...

 

If you have a driver, is he or she from Cozumel? If so, they will know where everything worth seeing is. There are small ruins on the Transversal Highway on the way from town to the East side of the Island. Look up San Gervasio Ruins. You can continue to the East side beaches and stop wherever you like. Punta Sur on the south end is good. Continue to the West side beach clubs before returning to town. Too many things to see and do in town to list.
