Connecting mini-suites on the Gem

Is it true that connecting mini-suites on the Gem have more suare footage than regular AF's? I remember reading somewhere that they are a little wider; with the connecting door opened that sounds like it may be great! However, from the ship's floorplan this does not seem to be true...Has anyone ever had both connecting mini-suites on the Gem? Thanks!

They are exactly the same size as 98% on the minisuites. There are a couple of AFs aft facing that are a little smaller.
