What's up w/ NCL's Promos?

I got an e-mail earlier about some discount NE cruises. I decided to call & check the rates. It gave a special promo code to mention DMDNZ, so when I called & asked for the promo they gave me the same rate as I got from the NCL site w/out any promo code. Why bother mailing out the promos when there is no difference?

 

Anyone else have this experience?

 

By the way I am looking to book the NCL Dawn 3/27/05 Balcony... anyone else get a good deal on this date?

We also got the same email so we called about a 11 day cruise on the Dawn in March 06 they were $600.00 more than any other on line agents.The last cruise we were on 10/04 they also sent us a promo but we got a great deal on the Dawn.
