NLRetired Posted February 1, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2009 Plenty of info about CPAP's and the cruise part. But, from what I glean, you can only take one small carry-on (17x14x4ish) on the trains encountered on the tour part. I realize any other luggage meets you at your lodges, but I really don't want to have Princess or anyone else for that matter be responsible for handling the CPAP in its carrying case. It seems too that the carry-on that you bring on the train must fit under the seat in front of you because there are no overhead racks, right? So, anyone out there who has kept their CPAP carrier with them on the train? Did you simply not take any other carry-on or what? Thanks muchly. FritzG Posted February 1, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2009 Is your cpap a recent model? My DH's is only 2 or 3 yrs. old, and it is quite small and compact. He puts it in his carry-on and has room for more things too. He doesn't use the water with his; he tried it and didn't like it.
wander Posted February 1, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2009 I would ask this question directly with the medical component of Princess. There is always the possibility that they, like airlines, allow for carrying certified medical equipment in addition to their other carry-on limitations.
