Is it true that you do not have to pay the 15% tip if you buy the soda card on the ship? Need one for the kiddy. Carnival agent said it was like 32.00 and that had the tip included.

The soda cards are $6/day/adult and $4.50/day/kids plus 15% gratuity. The only thing you can avoid is sales tax if you wait to buy the card after you leave port.
