Would HAL confirm number of teens/kids on board?

Newbie cruisin' family and am concerned that my DD, age 16, won't have someone her own age to "hang out" with as that generation calls it. Some forums have suggested calling the cruise line to see if they have stats on this. Has anyone ever done so, and did you get data? I've told her that since she LOVES all types of dancing, she'll have a great time no matter what, even if it's just her older brother. :) LL

You can call ship services 800-541-1576 and give them the ship & sail date. They should give you a pretty accurate count of how many kids are on board. Given them the ages as the counts are done in ranges (i.e. 13-18 year olds, etc. etc.).

Didn't know if there were others burning the midnight oil too. We will also be on the Rydam, sailing out on Nov. 27th. My parents have sailed some with HAL and indicate they always see kids on board, but with CC sometimes indicating otherwise, thought I'd check it out. TTFN Lyndyloo
