We are doing this trip in March with Celebrity. Can you tell me how you got your day passes? How do you plan to get there from the port? If it is a cab, do you know how much fare would be?

Thanks for your help, I am interested in doing a day pass at a AI resort while we stop in Ocho Rios for the day.

Hello, We are planning on doing a day pass as the RUI in OCHOS on 2/16 - Does anyone know how far the resort is from the cruise pier and what the taxi should cost for 2 of us?

Day pass is $80 and can be purcahse on site. Catch a cab from the pier to the resort. You can purchase the pass in the main lobby.

What do you get when you purchase a day pass?

All you can eat and drink along with local dishes. Any non motorzied water sports and to relax on a decent beach. You may meet some very friendly locals and learn a few words of the dialect. You can get a preview of you next land destination:D

  • 1 month later...

After much research, we have decided that we would like to go to Riu but we are concerned about transportation. I saw in Jesica33's Princess review that she found trying to get a taxi to Riu to be a big hassle and gave up.

Does anyone know what we should expect to pay for a taxi. Do they charge per person?

I really would like to try to make it there if RIU if possible so any tips would be much appreciated.
