L0vet0travel Posted February 22, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2009 That's a good point, RET. The #10 jitney is the one, all jitney rides are now $1.25, exact change required. BUT, it is not a bad walk, either. I think it is less than a mile, and a good chance to exercise the legs. My DH and I walked there, even found a street vendor selling coconut drinks to make the walk smoother (rum...) Then after wonderful food and a few Kaliks, we took the jitney back into town. The first little store, furthest east I think, is an open air bar. The bartender made the best conch salad, from scratch. It was great, and fun to watch him at work. Got there as it was opening, around 11:30, so don't be in a hurry. Love2

As others have said, it's the #10. Just tell the driver when you get on that you want to get off at the Fish Fry and they will stop for you. Oh, we definitely won't be getting there too early. We're going to Blackbeard's Cay in the morning for stingray snorkeling, so we probably won't get to Fish Fry until 12:30 or 1.
