mamamarmot Posted February 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2009 With all this talk about beach vendors, I was wondering- do any of them sell beach towels? I don't want to risk losing NCL's $25 towel nor do I want to have the "look at me, we just came off a cruiseship" towel while on the beach. Also, my 7 y.o. DD wants to have one of those framed (real) buterfly collections. Is that something that one sees for sale in this part of Mexico? Any idea of cost? Legal to bring back into States? thanks! househunter Posted February 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2009 There are no goofy questions here! In all the years I have been going to Mexico, I have not seen either of those items. Maybe you can bring a cheap beachtowel from home? Have fun!
bobnsofi Posted February 6, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2009 we have never had a problem with a lost towel. If you are worried, grab an extra lying around at sunset by the pool, or a few from the gym. Vendors typically do not sell beach towels, but, if you hunt, you will find some. There are the mexican blankets, and many are inexpensive
