SKY Questions - Casino and iPod Docking Stations

Hello

I'm taking my first cruise next month on the Sky. I thought I had learned everything I need to know by reading through the discussion boards here, but after looking at NCL's website, I have a couple questions I haven't seen on here.

Does anyone have any advice on the Casino at Sea Players Club - can you really accumulate enough points to get anything worthwhile? Also, I've seen it mentioned that people can dress up for the Monte Carlo Night but I have no clue what would be worn to something like that - also, can anyone tell me what that party is all about. I've seen a lot about the White Hot Party but not this one.

I also noticed on the site that the suites and villas have MP3 players and docking stations, I'm going to be in a AC Penthouse Suite so I guess that would mean we'd have a dockign station, but I don't want to leave mine at home and be without my ipod for the week. Does anyone have any information on this? If not, i can call NCL and see what they have to say.

Thanks!

The CAS players club is well worth joining. However, the Sky does shorter criuses and I don't know if you are on the 3 or 4 day cruise. That could make a difference in what you might actually "earn" since it's not a 7 day cruise...depending on your play. I earned about 45 points on my Sky 3 day cruise, but I don't want to tell you what I spent in order to get those points. :o

If you accumulate 25 or more points on your players card, then they will deduct that amount from your on board account balance. However, in order to earn those 25 points, you're going to spend a LOT, LOT, more then $25.,,unless of course you get lucky and win. So if you are looking to make some money by using the players card, that's not gonna happen. However, if you are someone who likes to gamble anyway, by all means get that card.

Also, when you join, they will give you a coupon book with some neat coupons. $20 for $10 slot play. Lucky Ace card, etc. etc.

In additon, if you play enough, you will qualify to book your next cruise through CAS. Not only will you get a great discount, but you will receive a free drink card for the casino. A fantastic perk. CAS does actually give out comp cabins for those who are high rollers, and there are some here on CC that can you all about that....unfortunately, I'm not one of them. :D

I've never noticed anyone dressed up for Monte Carlo night. It's a fun time, but very, very noisy. Music, announcements, bar tenders doing tricks, dancing girls, prizes. Lots of fun.
