What to do in Belize with Kids

Hello-

First time cruising, need suggestions on what to do in Belize with 2 boys ages 5 & 10????

We've heard some god things about the Belize Zoo so we are trying it out when we go Feb 17th.

 

Don't know when you are cruising, but I'll be sure to post a review when we return.

we are leaving on the 9th. So I will post what we come up with.

We are traveling on the NCL Spirit with a 4 year old and we are going snorkeling with Eco Tours.

 

I wouldn't go to an emerging country zoo, have been, usually rather sad. And I have read not great posts about the Belize zoo. It is very small apparently.

Any info would be great on what you did with your kids. We will be cruising in Aug. with our 2 boys 9 & 7. I was thinking about the zoo but would like to hear from someone who has gone recently

We're doing the "Captain Your Boat" tour. Saw some great reviews/photos from it. Kids are very excited about it too. It's offered from CoralBreeze too. Get to see crocs, dolphins, manatees, monkeys all in the wild. If anyone else is on the Legend 3/15/09 we'll see your there!
