Costa Europa, Mauritius to Savona Info

Hi - we are also on this cruise. Go to the Costa Cruises roll calls and you will find a thread for our cruise (not much activity however).

My understanding is that the yellow fever vaccination is only recommended for Kenya. Mombassa seems to have a low incidence, but if traveling to one of the game reserves the incidence increases. We have previously had yellow fever vaccinations that are still valid.

Have you decided on shore excursions yet? I am still struggling with that part of the trip.

We live in Seattle. Good to know you are on our cruise.

thanks for the info. i have gotten a variety of answers in my research, but yours is the consistent one in that the shot is only recommended. just booked the cruise last week so trying to figure everything out. i have only booked shore excursions in kenya and yemen so far becuase of time constraints and/or difficulty getting alternative off ship tours. these are quite the exotic ports of call and glad to see there are others out there with a sense of adventure.
