Eurodam VA 7134 anyone been in it?

My DH and I leave out in a few weeks and will be in VA 7134 on the aft. Just wondering if anyone has stayed in this cabin? Are the aft cabin and verandahs larger than the ones on the side of ship?

I was on the Eurodam Jan 17-24, 2009 and we had all of the aft cabins,suites on deck 7 including 7134. The cabins are larger than on the Oosterdam ,Westerdam and Zuiderdam than when we sailed on those ships. The balcony is not quite as deep, but still big enough. The biggest advantage is that you will experience less wind, and a great view.

 

I was in 7141 and friends were in 7134 and we both noticed more noise in the cabins from squeaks, etc. Also the doors to the verandahs close with a thud that can be heard several cabins down, so try to grab the balcony door and muffle the thud, your neighbors will love you for that.

Just got back from a nice cruise on the Eurodam. We were in cabin 8143, which is under the aft pool deck. Had no problem with noise, except the first night when the wind was blowing a loose chair around...went up and secured it...problem solved. Otherwise, sounds from above were very sporadic, short lived and never at night. Location was very convenient to the Lido buffet and pools.
