Carnival Goff's Caye vs Caye Caulker trips in Belize

Has anyone been on the Goff's Caye trip recently? Is there really good snorkeling or should we do one of the Caye Caulker trips with Star Tours or Coral Breeze? We have our own gear. Any advantages of one over the other? Thanks!

Don't do it. The wife and I did it last April(2008). The snorkeling was terrible due to very swift current. The Cay is just that ...a spit of sand with port o pottie, and a tiki hut to eat under. We were not pleased. However...the food and beer was fabulous if overpriced.

BTW...Beware of the "native craftsman" who will do his best to force his jewelry on you.

Coral Breeze to Caye Caulker all the way!!!! We have used them a few times and are never unhappy with the choice! Safe and very informative, Caye Caulker is like a post card looking out onto the water.

Thanks! I just wanted to find a good snorkel trip in Belize. Who knows when we will pass that way again. Which trip did you take, if you don't mind?
