Karen & Robert :) What Ports are you doing, for excursion advice the ports need to be mentioned... There are NO semi formal nights in the Caribbean so you should have 2 formal nights per week on your cruise and the rest smart casual. Tipping is at the end of your cruise by envelope, Just need to tip your room steward, and your table waiters, (two who work as a team - one envelope)
Pontius Navigator Posted February 12, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2009 There are NO semi formal nights in the Caribbean so you should have 2 formal nights per week on your cruise and the rest smart casual. When did that change? We were on Artemis over Christmas, for 14 days we had 4 formal, 6 semi-formal and 4 smart casual. The semi-formal for men was for a jacket (some wore ties, some didn't). madrocker Posted February 12, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted February 12, 2009 Hi, Thanks for advice, the ports we are are calling at are Aruba/Limon/Colon/Curacao/Tortola/St Maarten/St Vincent/Tobago/Grenada then back to Barbados. Which islands are best to see, never having done this before we want to plan it all before we go and know which excursions are best. Some of the reviews I've read aren't very flattering, how was it over Christmas? Thank you:)
