cruisinCLT Posted February 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2009 Has anyone done the snorkeling tour at this resort in cozumel? It's an additional $38 and was wondering if the 2 hour tour was worth it.
Rare patrice1 Posted February 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2009 We have not done the snorkle, but we absolutely love Nachi Cocom and if it's anything at all like what they do onshore, I'm sure it'll be fine. We'll be there in, what, 83 days?:D
cruisinCLT Posted February 12, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted February 12, 2009 I ordered my tickets for my group of 17 and we will be there march 7th. do you remember how long it took to get your tickets emailed to you?
BamaCruiser20 Posted February 12, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2009 You won't get an actual "ticket". Just print out your confirmation email and carry it with you. They will meet you at the entrance, take your group picture with somberos and then introduce you to your "host" for the day. You'll then pay the remainder of your balance (in cash or traveler's checks...they don't take plastic). After that you will be showered with service and never be hungry or thirsty the rest of the day! Nachi Cocum is the BEST.

It's an additional $38 and was wondering if the 2 hour tour was worth it. Hi there. We JUST got off the Fantasy (Blogger's Cruise) this morning and had just done Nachi on Tuesday. That was our second time there and it was just as lovely as the first. We were fully intending on taking that snorkel tour, but just paying for it when we got there. The tour they offered was going to be leaving at 1:30 and would be back at 3:30 - a time we were uncomfortable with since we wanted to be back at the pier by then and on board by 4:30. That tour can be done with plenty of time, and I hear it's worth it, but we decided to rent snorkel equipment, ride the banana boat, parasail, and just stay near the beach (so beautiful there). By the way, there are live conch under the pier - a terrific sight! Whatever you decide, you will not be disappointed. Have fun and happy cruising! Fraucruiser Posted February 12, 2009 #6 Share Posted February 12, 2009 Nachi Cocum is the best! We did not do the snorkle tour they offered. Between the beach and the hammocks and the bar and the pool and the food.....there did not seem to be enough time! This place in truly paradise! Here are a few photos taken June 2008!
