any ideas for loreto?

I called up the Inn at Loreto Bay, and they said there is a vendor in front of the hotel, called Arturo's Sportfishing, which rents kayaks. HAL's kayak excursion goes to Loreto Bay, I believe, so that should be a nice, calm area to kayak. They said there are other kayak rental vendors in town as well.

Arturo's is the one HAL did our kayaking shorex through. You will need transportation there and back -- it is a ways out of Loreto. Also be aware that guests at Inn at Loreto Bay appear to have "first dibs" on any available kayaks, as kayaking and fishing is included in their room rate. And we saw some resort guests get absolutely VILE with the guy who was running the kayak rental when told that our group was using all the kayaks. Vile.
