Playa Palancar closure in Cozumel?

There is an unanswered thread over on the Cozumel side that is asking about information. They had read or heard that they were up for sale. Whether they meant the dive center, the bar/restaurant, etc. I am not real sure. I thought maybe someone over here might know something. My family is hoping to snorkel from a boat there and spend some time on the beach while we are in Cozumel in April.

Try posting your question Here I know several dive operators that stop there daily for their surface interval. I'm sure one of them or one of their customers will know something.
