SJH Posted November 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2004 We are cruising on Carnival Valor Feb.6th, and Grand Cayman seems like it would be lovely if we rent a jeep(taking 2 kids) and explore on our own. It does take some time, and plenty of concentration to get used to doing this. 2. If you do decide to rent a car, make your reservation as far in advance as you can. A friend who is retired and lives on Grand Cayman part time told me that rental cars are in short supply for various reasons.
