Snorkeling?

What would be a nice beach to do some snorkeling? We have our own equipment so we do not need rentals. One that is not too far from the Cruise Ship Terminal would be great. We do not mind taking a cab or walking a bit. Thanks.

Mail, i am looking for the same thing. We don't want to do a whole tour thing. Just a nice beach, some turtle sighting while snorkleing. Maybe off a glass bottom boat or Catamaran. I hear good things and bad about the different beaches.

Anyone know if Malibu Beach would have these things?? If so where is it located??

Folkstone has good snorkeling, but you do need to take a taxi - I believe it was a 20 minute or so taxi ride.
