drumline Posted February 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2009 Does anyone know how deep the water is for cave tubing? Most photos show people standing about knee deep but I have a non-swimmer in my group who wants to be sure. Thanks.
dst Posted February 15, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2009 When we did the cave tubing about 2 years ago, we were able to stand in 99% of the area (I am 5'1") there was just a few spots where it was over my head but never for very long. We really enjoyed the excursion
IslandToIsland Posted February 15, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2009 I agree with the OP. The water is very shallow in most areas. I never stood up except for in the very beginning and at the end. When the guides stood at certain points they were able to walk in the water and I know there were alot of times where I put my hand in the water while in the tube and I could feel the rocks on the bottom They also provide life jackets so the person in your group will be fine.
