motherchic Posted February 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2009 I have cruised on other lines but we are considering our first Carnival cruise. We are looking at a Caribbean itinerary, in July or August. I found 3: Freedom, 8 day Liberty,7 day and Victory,7 day We will be taking our two teenage daughters. Please I would appreciate any input. Which ship do you like better? Better for teens? Do any of them have a seperate adult pool? or a covered pool? Any info I so would appreciate. VentureMan_2000 Posted February 15, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2009 Freedom is the newest... the Liberty the second newest, and the Victory the oldest of the three. I've cruised the Victory and thought she was a top rate ship. I suppose I would tend toward the 8-day... only because I love cruising and one extra day would be great. However, I tend to choose based on total price... this include airfare, hotel, taxi, cruise, and trip insurance. If everything is equal... go for the 8-day cruise. Best of luck. :)
VentureMan_2000 Posted February 15, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2009 OH... BTW... they all have adult pools... and the main Lido pools have covers that open and close, based on the weather. The Adult pools can be an issue as the Security folks tend to not enforce the Adult only pool rules... but sometimes they do. Again, best of luck. :)
