Hi. The current cruise director is John Heald (can't wait to meet him on our upcoming cruise), but I think he is going on vacation after the 12/10 sailing and won't be back for a while. Stormin' Norman seems to have the scoop on what is going on. Maybe he can tell you who will be there for your sailing. Happy cruising.

We just got back from the Glory yesterday, our CD was John Heald, he mentioned that he'd be leaving the Glory in 3 weeks. During another show he mentioned that he'd be retiring. I think Norman will have more info though, I believe they're friends.

 

 

I have to say that John's bedtime story was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Thank God for Willy Banger, Mary and The Hero!

Excerpt of e-mail received by me from John Heald on 17th November........

 

"How are you?

 

I met some people onboard who love you.

 

I am going home for Xmas and it will nice to see my parents. I am looking fwd to the 19th of Feb, it will be a 'special' cruise.

 

Stuart Dunn (Aussie) will replace me.

 

How's the finished surgery progressing?

 

I think about you often........

We just got off of the Conquest yesterday. We spoke to Stuart several times on board. He will be going on the Glory. He was great. He also was the CD on the Conquest in February on our first Conquest cruise. There were several things that went wrong, and I am sure it was a very stressful cruise for him. However, he kept his cool and tried to calm the passengers.

This past Wednesday we got our picture taken with him at Margaritaville. We really appreciated him taking some of his personal time to stop and visit with us. Thanks Stuart.
