Altun Ha in Belize or Chaccoben in Costa Maya, which is the better excursion?

 

We've never done either but are going to Chaccoben this time. I heard the roads to Altun Ha aren't all that great. But, the Altun Ha/Belize River sounded great. That is, if you are braver than me.:o

We did Altun Hu in December with Action Boys Belize and I was fully prepared to treat the van ride like an amusement park ride. Sadly, not one single bump was felt on the ride. It was very smooth. Whether it was the van or Donald the tour guide avoiding the bumps? I don't know. It was a comfortable ride either way!
