Not cruise related but it happened to us as well. We took the wrong luggage. It didn't just look the same it was the exact same style, size, color, year. My husband sat on it for 1 1/2 hours while I stood in line at the car rental (now that was bad!). We drove 45 min to our hotel, settled in and decided to go swimming. I go to open it up and it is locked. I didn't lock mine. I don't have a key. I finally take a good look at it and realize that it has some stickers on it that were not on mine. No name or tag on it. We call the airlines and yes ours is waiting for us in Lost luggage. So instead of the afternoon on the beach we end up driving the 1 1/2 hr to the airport and back to trade. I never heard whose luggage we took but I expect their afternoon was ruined as well.

Now we check.
