Taxi From LAX-San Pedro

I am sailing in April with my DH and 2 yr old DD and was wondering if anyone knows about how much it is for a taxi from LAX to San Pedro. I am trying to decide what my options are. I would appreciate anyone's suggestions. Thanks in advance.:D

Sorry, I can't remember how much the taxi was. Wanted to suggest reading and/or posting on the West Coast Departures section of the boards http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=413, might be some info there.

We used super shuttle. In that West Coast section, there is even a code to give you a 3buck discount per person, (something like that). you have to book in advance, but that was easy. It was cheaper than taking a cab for two.

I just did this yesterday .. $60 flat rate (4 people( San Pedro to John Wayne airport . Private van .. Heres a number , there esay to work with , she will quote of the phone.1-800-359-1800

Are you bringing your own child safety seat? They are required in CA for children who are 2 yo, and some of the shuttle services (and perhaps cabs too) will not take a child unless you have your own. Most do not supply them. I know this is true for SuperShuttle.
