yes, you can pay a few hundred and take the risk of a less than happy cruise experience.

 

Pretty much everyone going on a cruise loves to eat, and you will have some issues after going through this experience. No first hand experience, but people that have posted talk about sore gums, senstive teeth, rules about what you can eat and not eat, etc.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but why would anyone want to get there teeth whitened on a cruise ship?? I'm I missing something??:confused:

I heard it was quite a bit cheaper that what it costs in Canada. Doesn't sound like it, though.

Don't do it. Things can go wrong and the worst thing on vacation would be to have sore gums because someone messed up whitening your teeth. It happened to me before and it was with an actual dentist. Go to someone who is qualified when you are at home where you can follow up afterwards if there are problems. I don't know what they charge on the ship but surely it would be cheaper at a dentist. It's around $400-$500 for Zoom whitening around here.

My friends did it last week when we were on board. I will ask them and post. He had no problems. You just need to stay away from things like red wine and berries( because they stain).

Why it is in our water system, as everyone has yellow teeth from it. Best way to be safe & whiten teeth is to take a spoonful of baking soda to a bit of hydrogen peroxide to wet it & brush teeth with it. Same as the Arm & Hammer toothpaste.

 

Whitening teeth on any cruiseship would be like having your hairdresser whiten your teeth, IMHO
