Beach towels for ports

Do I need to bring my own beach towel to take off the ship on port days?

I can't speak for all the cruise lines. But I was on the NCL Sky earlier this month and we were able to take their towels with us when we were in port.

 

I would think you could with any cruise line. Just be careful to remember to bring them back with you. I think some cruise lines may charge if you don't turn them in or something...But I am not 100% for sure on that either...

RCI lets you take beach towels into the ports. Don't waste your luggage space.
