Hi! With just 2 weeks before our cruise, we decided to upgrade to a balcony room! This is our first balcony as we have always had inside staterooms in the past. Our location in on Deck 8 and it's at the very back of the ship. Does anyone have any experience with that location? Is it a good place? I'd appreciate any comments or tips. Thank you! :)

We were in 8132 (AE) last year, first time with NCL, loved it, so much so, we will be back on the lady in April 2010.;) DH and myself ALWAYS book an aft cabin, nothing like sitting on the balcony looking at where we've been. :p You have no wind, no noise, except for the calming sounds of the of the sea!!!!! :D

The room is actually a BA, not an AE, so no butler or conceirge, just a balcony! We are really excited because we've only had inside staterooms in the past! Thanks for your replies :)

In general Stern cabins, [aft is a direction :) ] are some of the most sought after cabins on the ships.
