I have been to GCI several times and never went to hell. We are going with our two kids this time and tought it would be cool to send a card postmarked from hewll this time but we dont want this to be our only excursion for this island. How far of a cab ride is it to hell from the ferry drop off point and is thier anything else in close proximity or should we just take a cab right there and right back to go somewhere else?

my ship was diverted because of high waves so i ended up at a port outside of georgetown. there was traffic getting into town, it took us 30 minutes to get to Hell. I definitely would not recommend getting a taxi from Spots port. Hell is also very isolated ... its in a residential area. I only ended up visiting Hell because I booked the Cayman highlights, which included Hell, Tortuga rum cake factory, Boatswain turtle farm, which is absolutely amazing + you get to catch a turtle for a photo. I was supposed to go to 7 mile beach but there was not enough time since we had to catch out boat for the stingray city excursion too.
