LGB to LAX how far?

Recommended Posts

How long does it take to get from Long Beach to LA int'l by taxi or blue van ?

Depending on traffic, 30 minutes give or take a few. To play is safe, I'd say 45 minutes, you never know how traffic will be. Also, this past weekend, the 710 (Long Beach Freeway) was closed in both directions, this is why I say 45 to play it safe.

Note to OP, if you are asking about going on Mariner, it sails from San Pedro which is a bit closer to LAX. I think we were less than 30 minutes yesterday morning from San Pedro to LAX.

Actually, LGB is about 7 miles closer to the port than LAX. Most days it is a much shorter drive as well.

Edit to add, both are fairly close, LGB is around 13 miles from port, LAX about 20 miles. Allow an extra 15 minutes to get to LAX rather than LGB (without traffic).
