davethomasowns Posted February 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2009 Hello! My girlfriend was looking through pictures of the Liberty and saw that there are vents on the bottom of the cabin doors. Not sure if they were on previous ships we have sailed, but we were just wondering what they are for? She is worried about being able to hear inside the cabin. What are the vents for? Are they on all ships? Can you hear through the doors? Sorry if this sounds silly, thanks for any replies. Shane BTW, this is what she's talking about:
caribbean dreams Posted February 24, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2009 No, you can not hear anything from the hall. I have no idea what they are for.
TheVegasMan Posted February 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2009 Your room steward uses that to listen into your room to make sure there is something to see when they knock softly and enter your room 1 second after knocking.:o:D
